ADIF awards ENA Tecnología the upgrade of protection systems at 10 level crossings on the Torralba-Soria line

ADIF awarded ENA Tecnología in December 2025 the contract for the drafting of the construction project and execution of works to upgrade protection systems at 10 level crossings located on line 202 Torralba-Soria.

Project scope

The project includes the upgrade of Class A2 protection systems at level crossings located at kilometer points 2/906, 3/600, 27/363, 36/631, 37/710, 39/764, 58/214, 68/997, 76/833 and 82/416, crossing various municipalities in the province of Soria, including Miño de Medinaceli, Taroda, Morón de Almazán, Matamala de Almazán, Tardelcuende, Quintana Redonda and Los Rábanos.

The works will be executed with ENA Tecnología level crossing equipment, adapting to the particularities of each installation in accordance with current regulations on railway operational safety and interoperability.

Railway safety improvement

This action will raise the protection level of level crossings, eliminating telephone blocks and providing minimum equipment for train protection systems. The objective is to progressively minimize risks derived from the human factor in circulation processes and contribute to improving safety on the conventional network.

Project execution will take place between 2025 and 2026, consolidating ENA Tecnología’s position as a reference company in railway protection systems.
